Round Rock Historic Year Round Event
Start/Finish: Allen R. Baca Center, 301 W Bagdad, Bldg 2, Round Rock Tx, 78664. The start box is located in the reception area of Baca Center, bottom shelf of center information kiosk. The center is open Mon-Thurs 7 AM – 9 PM , Fri 7 AM – 6 PM , Sat – Sun 8 AM – 1 PM. Center is closed on many holidays, call 512-218-5499 for information. Dogs are not allowed in the building.

Town Walk Y1673: This 10k/5k walk is rated 1A. The rating for strollers and wheelchairs is Medium. The trail goes through historic Round Rock where outlaw Sam Bass is remembered, through residential areas and Veterans City Park, then along Brushy Creek to see the “Round Rock”. Chisholm Trail Memorial Park has sculptures relating to bygone cattle drives.

Directions: From the north and south on IH-35, take Exit 252B, Rt 620. Heading north, turn right to Round Rock (620). Heading south, turn left, cross highway to Round Rock (620). Go 2 blocks, turn right to N Brown, right to Bagdad. Baca Center is the 2nd building on the left; free parking is nearby. Enter main door toward rear of building.
