Historic Belton and Mary Hardin Baylor Campus Year Round Event
Start/Finish: CEFCO (former Shell) Gas Station, 912 E Central Ave, Belton, TX, 76513-3278. This is at the NW corner of S I-35 service road and Central Ave. Ask clerk for walkbox behind counter. After registering, you will drive a short distance to begin the walk. Driving directions to walk start at Liberty Park are included with the Walk Directions.

Walk Y1399: This 10k/6k walk is rated 1A. It is a beautiful, mostly shaded walk through downtown Belton with many historic houses, the Bell County Museum, the Mary Hardin Baylor campus, and the Nolan Creek Hike & Bike Trail. Lots of places to eat, picnic, or just rest on a shady bench. The rating for strollers and wheelchairs is Medium. Restrooms are available, and pets are allowed on the walk.

Directions: Belton is about 60 miles north of Central Austin on I-35. From the Dallas/Ft Worth area, go south on I-35 towards Austin. Take exit 294A (Central) (S of Temple), continue to Shell station. From the San Antonio/Austin area, go north on I-35 towards Waco. Take exit 294A (Central), cross under I-35, go to CEFCO station on NW corner of S service road.
