What is the Colorado River Walkers club?
We are a local non-profit walking club in Austin, Texas. Our club is a member of AVA: America’s Walking Club. AVA is a national walking organization with local clubs all over the country. We promote walking for fun, fitness and friendship!
Our club was founded in 1981 in Austin, Texas. Ours was the 77th volkssport club founded in America (AVA-077) and the 24th volkssport club founded in Texas (TX-24).
A Little About What We Do
- We put on walks in the Austin area that are open to the public.
- We organize around four walks per year.
- We participate in regular group walks.
- We meet once a month to conduct club business and socialize.
