Our May club meeting will be a week from today on Sunday, May 3rd, at 3:00 pm.
Please note that this is a week earlier than usual! Our meeting normally would have been on May 10th, but that is Mother’s Day, so we are moving it ahead a week.
For all the mothers out there, we are sharing the picture above of some pretty wild flowers. It was taken on the Violet Crown Trail Walk, our recent traditional walk on April 18th. It was a wonderful walk, and we send a big “Thank You!” to Carol Obianwu, who did a great job leading this walk, and to all of our workers and walkers.
Our May meeting will be at our usual place, the Central Market at 4001 N. Lamar Blvd, in the upstairs café area. This is the month when we elect our officers for the coming year, so we hope you can attend!
We can’t bring in outside food to Central Market, so if you’d like to enjoy refreshments at the meeting, arrive a little earlier and buy a meal or snack and a drink downstairs. Then head with your food, via either the elevator or the stairs, to the room upstairs.
All are welcome. You don’t have to be a club member to join us!
