The San Antonio Pathfinders are hosting a walk in conjunction with the annual Tour de Castroville this coming Saturday, April 11th. The Tour de Castroville is a “Walk, Run, and Ride” family-friendly event.
The walk route goes by historic homes and landmarks in the pretty little town of Castroville. The picture above shows Colorado River Walker Doug Eide in front of a historic home on this walk in 2025. Martin Callahan took the picture and shared it with us.
A few items about this Saturday’s walk:
- The walk start point is the event tent at Castroville Regional Park, 816 Alsace Street, Castroville, TX 78009.
- Both a 5k and 10k route will be available.
- Registration starts at 7:20 AM, and the walk start window is from 8:20 to 10:30 AM. Walkers must finish by 1:00 PM.
