This coming Saturday, March 14th, the San Antonio Pathfinders are featuring their Riverwalk South YRE. It’s also the annual Pi Day walk!
The Start/Finish is at King William River Park, which is located at 247 Washington Street, San Antonio, TX 78204. Walkers may start the walk between 9:00am and 11:00am.
Parking is available along Washington Street by the park. There is 2-hour parking there, and on the side streets with some area limitations. Distance to the park can be added to your walk total.
There are no restrooms at the park, but they are available along your walk on the San Antonio Riverwalk.
This is a popular walk since it hits some of the most scenic and historic areas of downtown San Antonio. The route goes along the Paseo del Rio or “Riverwalk” and through the King William district, La Villita, HemisFair Park, and the Institute of Texan Cultures. Walkers will also see the San Fernando Cathedral and Mission San Antonio de Valero, better known as “The Alamo”.

Pets are not recommended, but if taken, must be leashed at all times. Numerous restaurants are located along the walk.
