The next Texas Volkssport Association meeting will be in Fort Worth, over the 3-day weekend of March 6th through the 8th. The Tarrant County Walkers are hosting the event, and there will also be three wonderful walks, one on each of the 3 days:
Friday, March 6th:
- Walk start point is Melva Campbell Park, located at 311 Burton Hill Road, Westworth Village, TX 76114. Walkers may start between 1:00 and 3:00 PM.
- The walk route crosses a levee of the West Fork of the Trinity River, goes by a hidden waterfall, and on to Airfield Falls Trailhead and Conservation Park.
Saturday, March 7th:
- Walk start Point is at the Hardwicke Interpretive Center, located at 9601 Fossil Ridge Road, Fort Worth, TX 76135. Walkers may start between 8:15 and 10:15 AM.
- This walk goes through the Fort Worth Nature Center and Preserve, with over 3,600 acres of natural beauty and wildlife.
- The Interpretive Center is also the location of the TVA Meeting at 1:00 PM.
Sunday, March 8th:
- Walk start Point is the Kroger Parking Lot, located at 3120 University Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76109. Walkers may start between 8:00 and 10:00 AM.
- The walk goes through the beautiful TCU Campus, with charming neighborhood homes, and also by a labyrinth.
