The Colorado River Walkers will not hold a club meeting in August this year, but we will pick back up with our meetings the following month. Our next club meeting will be on September 8th.
This is a little unusual for us. Normally we have our club picnic and hold elections in May and then take the month of June off. We’re switching it up this year!
So stay healthy and happy, and walk when you can. The picture above was taken on a recent visit to the Mueller Neighborhood in Austin. This is “Ocho,” the octopus, hanging out on top of some public restrooms in a pocket park. Ocho was created by nationally acclaimed artist Dixie Friend Gay.
