The Volkssportverein Friedrichsburg walking club will be hosting a Founders’ Day Walk in Fredericksburg on Saturday, June 14th. This walk honors Reverend Kenn Knopp, a Fredericksburg native, who organized the first volksmarch in America in 1976. It took place in Fredericksburg, the town which he loved so well.

The start point for this walk is at the Kinder Halle pavilion in the Marktplatz in the middle of Fredericksburg. Walkers may register for the walk between 8:00 and 11:00 AM, and they must be finished by 2:00 PM.
We hope that you can make it out to the charming town of Fredericksburg for the walk. It should be very pleasant weather in the morning!
