The Hill Country Volkssportsverein walking club will be hosting a walk in Center Point this coming Saturday, May 24th.
Center Point is a charming historic town on the Guadalupe River. The walk route goes through town, along the Guadalupe River, and to the Center Point Cemetery.
The picture above was taken by Martin Callahan on this walk in March of 2022. The Center Point Area Historic Preservation Association has made improvements to the Historic Park and Museum since the last time we walked there, so it’ll be interesting to see the changes.
Walkers may start the walk between 8:00 and 11:00 am. The start point is the Center Point Museum located at 310 FM 480, Center Point, TX 78010. We hope to see you there!
