This coming Saturday, May 17th, the Colorado River Walkers will be hosting a walk in Round Rock. This is one of our club’s Year Round Events (YREs), which can actually be done most days of the year, but we are excited to try out a new route that was recently designed by Carol Obianwu. Also, the new route passes by “the” round rock for which the community was named, pictured above. (Photo complements of Terry Sullivan.)
The walk start point is the Allen R. Baca Senior Center, located at 301 W Bagdad, Bldg 2, Round Rock, TX 78664.
On Saturday, Terry Sullivan will be at the Baca Senior Center from 9:00 to 11:00 AM to register walkers, collect the $4.00 fee, and hand out maps and directions.
Below are directions to the Baca Center.
From N and S IH 35, exit 252B, RM 620. Heading North, turn right to Round Rock (620). Heading South, turn left, cross highway, to Round Rock (620). Go 2 blocks, turn right to N Brown, right to Bagdad. Baca Center is 2nd building on left, free parking nearby.
