Walking together is better, and we have another opportunity to do that on Saturday, January 11th, in San Antonio!
The San Antonio Pathfinders will be hosting a walk in Lincoln Heights, starting at the Corner Bakery Café at Lincoln Heights in the Alamo Quarry Market Shopping Center. The café is located at 255 E. Basse Road, San Antonio, TX 78209.
The picture above shows the old Alamo Cement Plant smokestacks at the Alamo Quarry Market. The smokestacks are over 100 years old, and we thank Martin Callahan for sharing the picture.
There are 10k and 5k routes available. Walkers may start from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, and must finish by 2:00 pm. This is a pleasant and easy walk on sidewalks and paved streets through a nice residential area.
