The Randolph Roadrunners are hosting a walk in Pearsall Park in San Antonio this coming Friday, November 29th.
This walk is part of the American Volkssport Association “Opt Outside” program, where we Opt to go outside and walk on Black Friday!
The walk starts at the big pavilion in Pearsall Park, located at 5102 Old Pearsall Road, San Antonio, Texas 78242. Walkers may start the walk between 9:00 AM and 12:00 Noon.
Both a 5k and 10k route will be available, the walk is rated 2A. Part of the walk is on the linear trail, pass disc golf and soccer fields, a basketball court, exercise equipment and a splash pad. The pictures in this post were taken by Stephanie Knight on this walk in October of 2022. It was a nice trail, and yes, there was a cow grazing along the trail that had escaped from its fence.
We all need to get out and work of some of that turkey and pie from our Thanksgiving dinner, so we hope you can come out for the walk!
