The San Antonio Pathfinders, Texas Volkssport Association, City of Rockport and the Aransas County Pathways organization are co-hosting two days of AVA traditional walks in Rockport and Fulton, Texas. This event will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 9th and 10th, 2024.
Also, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, a semiannual meeting of representatives from the various Texas AVA clubs will be held in the afternoon at the host hotel’s conference room. The host hotel for the 2-day event and the TVA meeting is the Fairfield by Marriot Hotel, 2950 Hwy 35 N Business, Rockport, Texas (phone 361-727-9007).
About the walks:
- The Saturday Walk will start at the Connie Hager Pavilion and go through Rockport, Texas. Walkers will see the old town, unique shops, and the Aransas Bay front. They will also experience a walk through the monthly street market called “2nd Saturday Market in Downtown Rockport.”
- The Sunday Walk will start at the host hotel and go through historic Fulton, Texas. Walkers will see coastal living areas and markets, historic buildings, and the frontal bay area.

On both days, walkers may start the walk between 8:00 and 10:30 AM, and all walks must be completed by 1:00 PM.
