The AVA club in New Braunfels will be hosting a walk at Fischer Park this coming Saturday, November 2nd. The club, New Braunfels Marsch-und Wandergruppe, held a walk at this same location in 2021, and we have some nice pictures from that walk to share with you.
Carol Obianwu took the photo above of one of the ponds in the park. She also took the next picture in the gardens, which are a natural habitat for native wildlife.
Martin Callahan also shared some pictures from the 2021 walk. Below is a sign giving information about pollinators. The park has a Nature Education Center and is a Monarch Waystation.

It should be great weather for us to get out and enjoy this walk on Saturday. Walkers may start the walk from 8:00 to 11:00 AM, and they must be finished by 2:00 PM. The walk start point is at Pavilion G in Fischer Park, located at 1935 Hilltop Summit Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
