Old Spanish Trail Walk in San Antonio on Mar 23rd

The Randolph Roadrunners are hosting a new walk this coming Saturday, March 23rd, in central San Antonio. The start point is at Woodlawn Lake, located at 219 Alexander Ave, San Antonio, TX 78201. It is near the intersection of Alexander and Cincinnati Avenues.

This walk is being held in conjunction with the Old Spanish Trail (OST) Centennial Reenactment and South Texas Road Conference that will be held from Friday (3/22) to Sunday (3/24).

The headquarters for the celebration is the Gunter Hotel, and there are many activities planned. Please see the event posting on the AVA website for more details.

Part of this walk will be in older neighborhoods and part of the Old Spanish Trail that went through San Antonio during the 20’s and 30’s. Also, there will be a loop around Woodlawn Lake.

Walkers may register and start the walk from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Please see the walk brochure below for all the details, and we hope you can make it to the walk!
