The Colorado River Walkers will be hosting a walk in Buda on Saturday, February 17th. It is our “Buda, Tx – Old and New” walk, and we are pleased to highlight this growing little town just south of Austin.
The picture above was taken at the old Buda Mill & Grain Company silos in June of 2018. The group of Colorado River Walkers in the photo were on an exploratory walk that day. This historic site has been re-developed and now contains great restaurants, shops, and live music under the oak trees.
The Start/Finish is at Dance Unlimited, located at 1019 Main Street, Buda, TX 78610. Walkers may start the walk from 8:30 to 11:00 AM, and they must finish by 2:00 PM. There is a 6k route and a 10k route.
