The picture above of Jean and Hal B. was taken by Carol O. a few months ago when the weather was cooler. They were on an exploratory walk in Leander and walked through Lakewood Park.
Lets hope our walking weather returns soon! But until then, we can join our fellow Colorado River Walkers at our next club meeting. It will be on Monday, August 14th, at 6:00 pm.
We will meet at the usual meeting place – the Central Market at 4001 N. Lamar Blvd, in the upstairs café area inside the store. If the weather is cool enough, we will meet on the upstairs covered patio.
We can’t bring in outside food to Central Market, so if you’d like to enjoy refreshments at the meeting, arrive a little earlier and buy your dinner or snack and a drink downstairs. Then head with your food, via either the elevator or the stairs, to the room upstairs.
