The New Braunfels Marsch und Wandergruppe club will be hosting a walk in the Gruene Historic District on Saturday, April 29th.
The walk start point is the Gruene Dance Hall Beer Garden at 1281 Gruene Road. Walkers may choose between a 5k route and a 10k route, and the start window is from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
We always enjoy getting out of the city and exploring the smaller country towns in Central Texas, and Gruene is a favorite destination. It has great restaurants, antique shopping, the Guadalupe River, and live music. Check out the Gruene website here.

Gruene is on the north side of New Braunfels, less than 50 miles from central Austin, so it’s an easy drive down I-35 to enjoy this beautiful walk. We hope you can make it!
