The San Antonio Pathfinders are hosting a walk in Castroville this coming Saturday, April 1st, and the walk is being held in conjunction with the 12th annual Tour de Castroville. We hope that you can come out and join us for the walk and this family-friendly event.
Castroville is one of the prettiest towns in Texas, and the weather should be beautiful this coming Saturday. The pictures in this post were taken on the Castroville Year Round Event in September of 2021, so they may not be on Saturday’s walk route, but there are quaint and picturesque sights all over this little town.
A few items about this Saturday’s walk:
The walk start point is the event tent at Castroville Regional Park, 816 Alsace Street, Castroville, TX 78009.
Both a 5k and 10k route will be available.
The walk registration starts at 7:20 a.m., and walkers may start the walk any time from 8:20 to 11:30 a.m. They must finish by 2:00 p.m.
Please download the walk brochure below for all the details.
Some pretty artwork above a door is shown in the picture below.

This last picture is of a rock wall with plumbago flowering behind it. Beautiful!
