The Randolph Roadrunners will feature their Friedrich Wilderness Park Year Round Event this coming Saturday, January 21st.
Friedrich Wilderness Park is a beautiful natural area on the north west side of San Antonio. It is just off of I-10, about 5 miles north of 1604. It is home to two species of endangered birds, the Black-capped Vireo and the Golden-cheeked Warbler. It is a popular area for birders, hikers and nature enthusiasts!
Registration for this Saturday’s walk will not be at the usual location (Drury Inn). Instead, it will be at the park, located at 21395 Milsa Drive, San Antonio, TX 78256. Staff will be at the park from 8:00 to 11:00 am to register walkers.
Hiking boots and walking sticks are recommended for this scenic Hill Country walk. We hope you can make it!
