11/12/2022
President, Carol O. called the meeting to order at 9:30 am at Prime Taco Grille. There were 5 members present.
MINUTES: The 10/10/2022 meeting minutes were previously sent by e-mail and not read. The minutes were approved as sent.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Sam H. e-mailed a report of a total of $2781.45 in the checking account at this time. Carol O. submitted $10.00 for CRW patches from previous walks which she sold at the Berry Springs walk.

OLD BUSINESS
1. The next sponsored walk, Onion Creek Neighborhood, will be held on 11/19/2022. Stephanie K. distributed and discussed the revised 6km and 10km routes. A worker’s walk will take place immediately following the meeting to test out these routes. She will also display information at the Start Point that describes the Special Programs included in the walk. A signup sheet for volunteers to man the walk was passed around. Those who were unable to attend the meeting and wish to volunteer to help, please contact Stephanie K. Since CRW has many patches from previous walks, Carol O. will again offer them for sale for $1 during this walk and will provide them as a memento to the WAI walkers when they come to Austin following the Olympiad/Texas Trail Roundup.in February.
2. Since no one from CRW was able to attend the TVA meeting in Sulphur Springs this weekend, Mike S, president of the San Antonio Pathfinders, agreed to act as the CRW representative for voting purposes.
Siba S. took flyers to the TVA meeting for the Onion Creek Neighborhood walk.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. The next AVA Webinar will be Nov 16 2022, at 7 PM. Topics include Special Committee reports and candidates for board membership. See Nov. Checkpoint to register.
2. Since next month is December, and it now gets dark early, a discussion took place regarding the time and place to have the next meeting. No decision was made.
