The Colorado River Walkers will be hosting a walk on the southeast side of Austin in the neighborhood of Onion Creek on Saturday, November 19th.
The walk will start at the Onion Creek Club, located at 2510 Onion Creek Parkway, Austin, TX 78747. The start/finish will be at the entrance to the clubhouse. Walkers may start from 8:00 to 11:00 am and should finish by 2:00 pm. The picture above shows a old oak tree near the clubhouse, with the golf course in the background.
Onion Creek is a golf course community with green spaces spread throughout the neighborhood. Both the 6km and 10km routes are primarily on neighborhood sidewalks, with short distances on roads and park trails. A small neighborhood lake is in the picture below.
