07/11/2022
CALL TO ORDER: Carol O., president, called the meeting to order at 6:10 pm at Central Market upstairs dining area. There were 10 members present.
MINUTES: The 05/09/2022 meeting minutes were previously sent by e-mail and not read. The minutes were approved as sent.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Sam H. e-mailed a report of a total of $3,411.50 in the checking account at this time. The annual budget was reviewed. It was noted that the club lost approximately $350 during the past budget year (7/1- 6/30). Sam H. stated that CRW made donations of $350 during the year and suggested that donations not be made during the next budget year to correct the deficit. Discussion followed. No action taken at this time.

The Brushy Creek Bike YRE had no activity during the past year and will not be renewed.
Special Programs, Little Free Libraries and Carousels, have expired; YRE directions will be amended to reflect the changes. New Special Programs have not been determined.
OLD BUSINESS
1. There were 29 participants at the CRW sponsored Sunrise Walk at Lady Bird Lake. Everyone enjoyed the walk and also the watermelon provided by Carol O.
2. The next sponsored CRW walk event will be 9/24/2022 at Berry Springs Park. Deb P. is in charge of development of the walk. The pavilion has been rented. The flyer and directions are being developed. Volunteers will be needed to staff the walk. The signup sheet will be available at the next meeting.
3. A person to develop the walk event scheduled for 11/19/2022 is needed. If you are interested, please call Carol O.
4. Anyone interested in leading a walk on weekends when one nearby is not scheduled, please contact Carol O.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. At the conclusion of the 18th IVV Olympiad and the IML Texas Trail Roundup in San Antonio, Walking Adventures International is scheduled to begin their Heart of the South tour. Their first stop will be in Austin on 02/27/2023 for the Capital walk. Carol O. is coordinating the walk with WAI to ensure smooth registration.
2. The Next TVA meeting will be held in Sulfur Springs 11/11 – 13/2022. Two walk events and several YREs will be available.
3. The West Texas Walkers will sponsor three days of walks at Colorado Bend State Park on 10/7-9/2022. The Park is near Lampasas.
4. Carol O. has received poles for the feather banner for use at future events.
