The Houston Happy Hikers are hosting a walk in the historical town of Independence on Saturday, April 9th. This is a small community just north of Brenham, Texas, and about a 2-hour drive east of Austin.
It is a beautiful time of year to drive outside the city and see bluebonnets!
The walk start point is the Texas Baptist Historical Museum, located at 10405 FM 50, Brenham, TX 77833. Walkers may start the walk between 9:00 am and Noon, and they must finish by 2:00 pm.
