Tomorrow is the start of our 3-day weekend of walks in Central Texas. The Colorado River Walkers club is featuring two Year Round Events on the north side of Austin, and the club is co-hosting a traditional walk along with the Texas Volkssport Association. The three walks are:
Our Georgetown YRE on Friday, November 12th
A new walk at the Canyon of the Eagles Resort on the shores of Lake Buchanan on Saturday, November 13th.
Our Round Rock YRE on Sunday, November 14th
The picture above was taken by Charles Rogers when he and his wife, Mary, walked the 11k route for the Canyon of the Eagles walk recently. They enjoyed the walk and said the trail is well marked with trail posts. (One of the trail posts can be seen in the photo below.)
Carol Obianwu took the following picture when she was checking out the trails at Canyon of the Eagles this past Tuesday. She reported that the resort is beautiful and the trails are excellent.
