Photos from AVA Convention in Wisconsin

Several Colorado River Walker club members went to the American Volkssport Association convention in Madison, Wisconsin.  The convention week spanned June and July, starting on June 26th and ending on July 3rd.

In the picture above, CRW club members Nelli and Debbie are with some fellow Texans.  From back to front are Debbie G., Nelli A., Bonnie A., and Helen H. on the walk in Dubuque, Iowa, with the Mississippi River in the background.

Everyone enjoyed the Green Bay walk. The walk route went along the Packers Heritage Trail. Here are some pictures from that walk:

Debbie and Nelli striking a pose.
Deb Peak in our club took this picture of the group of women that she was with on the Green Bay walk.
“Birthplace of the Packers” sign on the Packers Heritage Trail. This picture (and the next two) were taken by CRW member Terry Sullivan.
Another sign on the Packers Heritage Trail.
Info about Hagemeister Park.

Terry S. also sent us the next picture of Lake Monona. She took the photo on the Monona Bay walk.

Several of our club members went on the Olbrich Gardens walk and sent some pictures.

Terry Sullivan sent this picture of a pavilion at the gardens.
Deb Peak sent this picture of herself at Olbrich Gardens.

Deb Peak also sent the next picture of a great sign that she saw on one of the walks.

Nelli Aguirre sent the last three pictures which she took on the University of Wisconsin walk. She said that they saw quite a few badger statues there.

Here’s Nelli’s selfie with the statue!

Thanks, ladies, for sharing the pictures!
