This coming Saturday, October 17th, the Texas Trail Roundup club will host the Japanese Tea Garden traditional walk in San Antonio.
This is a beautiful walk, and the weather should be gorgeous. The picture above was taken by Martin Callahan on a Japanese Tea Garden walk in May of 2008. That’s my husband and me on our first official date!
Walking through the gardens is well worth the drive to San Antonio. The 5 km route goes through the Japanese Tea Garden, past the zoo, and through Breckenridge Park. The 10 km route has an additional loop that goes through Trinity University and Monte Vista.
