Carol Obianwu led a group of 8 walkers on an exploratory walk in Georgetown this past Saturday, October 3rd.
They met at Booty’s Road Park, which is on the northwest side of Georgetown and fairly near the dam that forms Lake Georgetown. They followed a portion of the Randy Morrow Trail and walked by the dam.
Carol sent these pictures from that walk. In the photo above, Mary Z. and Jean B. are on the trail.

They walked by the Lake Georgetown dam and crossed the North Fork of the San Gabriel River. In the picture below, Nelli A. is looking back.

In the parking lot, the group saw a working 1929 farm truck being driven by a man who had his dog with him in the front seat:
