Remembering Ursula Brinkmann

Our friend and fellow volksmarcher, Ursula Brinkmann, passed away last month at 84 years young.  Her family and friends have recorded a beautiful tribute to her life, and we are sharing it here.

The photo above, with Ursula in the yellow jacket, was taken by Martin Callahan at our Colorado River Walkers Thanksgiving Recovery Walk in Cedar Park on Nov 28, 2015. I love how her whole face radiates joy!

Ursula has been a regular walker with the Colorado River Walkers in recent years, so her smiling face is already in quite a few pictures on our website, but I’m reposting them here and adding a few others in this post.

Martin took the two pictures below on a group walk of our CRW Round Rock YRE in September 2016:

This past May, Ursula and her daughter, Anne, joined us on a few informal group walks in Katherine Fleischer Park:

We miss Ursula’s kind presence and bright smile, but we remember her with love!
