Walk Y0450: This 10km/6km walk is rated 1A. It includes historical homes and passes by the ruins of
Salado College, founded in 1859. The Central Texas Area Museum houses many artifacts from the early
Scottish settlers. Bridges over Salado creek and springs provide beautiful vistas. The rating for strollers
and wheelchairs is Hard. Restrooms are available, and pets are allowed on the walk.

Austin, take 3rd of 3 Salado exits, for route 2484, and Inn will be on your right. Traveling S on I-35 from
Waco, take 1st of 3 Salado exits, for route 2484. Cross over highway to Stagecoach Rd. Watch for
construction. Walkbox located on top of red Newspaper vending machine at left. Drive short distance to
begin walk. Directions to start are inside the walkbox.
